Payment | Session Fee

  • Our fee is $125 for a standard 45min session (if paying out of pocket). We accept cash, check, credit card, Venmo, and online payments via PayPal.
  • Note: Cancellation policy is 24 hours in advance to void responsibility for payment.
  • Sliding scale options are sometimes an option depending on the availability of the therapist and the needs of the client (contact to inquire).


Open Avenue therapists accept insurance from the following:
In-Network provider

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO
  • Optum/United
  • Medicare

Out of Network providers

  • Aetna
  • Cigna
  • Other

If you are not sure about your insurance benefits don’t worry. Most people get a little confused and we can help you figure out if you have

1) a deductible, 2) how many sessions specifically it will take to pay off your deductible, and 3) what your session payment (e.g. copayment, co-insurance amount) will be once the deductible amount is met.

If you would like to figure out your insurance benefits please fill out and submit the Insurance Verification Form.

If your insurance is not listed above you may still be able to get coverage by submitting a claim yourself. We can provide you a service bill containing diagnostic information and service codes to facilitate the process.
